APPROX TEKNOLOJI ANONIM SIRKETI ("we", "us", "our") operates the mobile application Alibi (the "App"). This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and how you can exercise your rights. By using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

We collect and process the following categories of information when you use Alibi:

• Account information: Your unique user ID (UUID) generated when you create an account.
• Uploaded photos: Photos you upload to train the AI for image generation.
• Generated images: AI-generated excuse images created based on your photos and selected categories.
• Category selections: The excuse scenarios you choose for image generation.
• Purchase history: Credit purchase transactions processed through Adapty and App Store.
• Device permissions: Camera and photo library access (to upload photos) — you must grant these explicitly.
• Usage data: Anonymous analytics, crash reports and performance data collected via Firebase.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the data we collect to:

• Provide and operate app features — photo uploads, AI image generation, and image gallery.
• Authenticate and manage your account.
• Store your uploaded photos and generated images.
• Process credit purchases through Adapty and App Store.
• Generate AI images using Google Gemini based on your photos and selected categories.
• Improve the App and fix issues using analytics and crash reports.

3. Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal data. We only share data with third-party service providers when necessary to operate the App. These providers are contractually required to protect your data and use it only for the agreed purposes.

• Google Gemini: We send your photos and category selections to Google Gemini API to generate AI images.
• Firebase: For analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring.
• Adapty: For handling credit purchases and payment-related operations.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored both locally on your device and on our secure servers. We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit and at rest to protect user data. While we strive to protect your information, no system is completely secure — absolute security cannot be guaranteed.

Retention: We retain your account data, uploaded photos, and generated images for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. If you request deletion, we will remove your data as described in Your Rights & Choices.

5. Children's Privacy

Alibi is not specifically designed for children under 13. We do not intentionally collect personal information from children. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data to us, please contact us at info@approx.tech and we will delete the information promptly.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights including the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to withdraw consent; and to receive a copy of your data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@approx.tech.

Account deletion: If you delete your account, we will remove your personal data from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, except for data we are legally required to retain.

7. Third-Party Links & Services

The App may include links to third-party websites or services. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those third parties. We recommend reviewing their privacy policies before sharing personal information.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. When we do, we will update the "Effective Date" shown at the top and notify users through the App where appropriate. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the revised policy.
